Carl Dick Collection: A cuddly toy axolotl in lovely pink, also called a caudate or water monster. Axolotls can be found in swampy shallow lakes in Mexico or at Plueschtier.de. Our axolotl has purple gill branches/gill tufts behind its large head which makes it a relative of salamanders and newts. If there were dragons, I'm sure they would be relatives too. Above and below the shell, the water monster has rudder aids made of delicate tulle. Granules are sewn into the body. At 33 cm long, the axolotl is life-like in size. With its legs stretched out, the axolotl is 17cm wide and can also walk on land and breathe through its lungs.
